East of Čertovica the Low Tatras are lower, rounder and much quieter. The path follows the grassy crest for most of the day, dipping into the forest at the saddles of Homôľka, Oravcová and Priehyba.

The Ramža shelter is a good lunch stop. Andrejcová, at the end, is another simple shelter on the ridge, with Kráľova hoľa looming ahead.
