Questions
How fit do I need to be?
You should be happy walking six to eight hours a day with a light pack, several days in a row. The Low Tatras week has long climbs; the western hills are the gentlest start.
Can I join on my own?
Yes. Most of our groups are a mix of couples, friends and people walking alone. We pair single walkers in shared rooms, or you can pay for a room of your own.
What if the weather turns?
The guide decides on the day. On the high crest we sometimes take a lower path or wait out a storm in a hut; safety comes before the plan.
Can you carry my bag on the Low Tatras crest?
Not on the crest itself: there are no roads. You carry what you need for the hut nights, and the rest meets you at Čertovica and Telgárt.
