From Bankov the trail heads north through the forests of the Black Mountain, over Nad Suchou dolinou and under Hrešná, to the second spring called Kráľova studňa on this trail.

The last kilometres drop to Kysak, a railway junction on the Hornád river. The landscape is changing again: lower hills, villages and orchards, all the way to the Polish border.
